Daily Sudoku

One brand-new puzzle every day, the same for everyone who visits. Solve today's board, compare how you did with a friend on the identical grid, then come back tomorrow for the next one.

What makes the Daily different

Every other board on this site is generated fresh and at random, so no two players ever see the same grid. The Daily Sudoku is the exception, and that is the whole point. Each calendar day has one single puzzle, built from the date itself, and it is handed to every visitor unchanged. That shared board turns a solo puzzle into something you can talk about: you and a friend can race the same grid, swap times, and know you faced exactly the same challenge. At midnight the date rolls over and a completely new puzzle takes its place, automatically, forever.

The same rules you already know

The Daily is a classic 9×9 Sudoku, so nothing new to learn. Fill every empty cell with a number from 1 to 9 so that each row, each column and each 3×3 box contains all nine numbers with none repeated. Like every board here, the Daily is generated with a single unique solution and verified before it goes live, so you can always finish by logic alone and never have to guess.

Play the same board as a friend

Because the puzzle is tied to the date, sharing it is effortless. Hit the Share puzzle button above the board and the link is copied for you. Send it to anyone and they will open the very same grid you are solving — perfect for a friendly race to the fastest time, a family ritual over morning coffee, or a quiet daily rivalry with someone across the world. The link even carries the date, so a puzzle you loved is still there to share next week.

Why a daily habit works

A single puzzle a day is a gentle, sustainable way to keep your mind limber. There is no endless feed to get lost in and no pressure to play for hours — just one good board to finish and a clean sense of completion when you do. Many solvers find the Daily becomes a small ritual: a few focused minutes with a coffee, a moment of calm on the commute, or a wind-down before bed. Come back each day and the streak takes care of itself.

All the tools, none of the fuss

  • Pencil notes for marking candidates, exactly as on paper.
  • Hint, undo, redo and erase whenever you need them, plus a pause button and a solve timer.
  • Automatic saving, so you can close the tab mid-solve and pick up today's board right where you left it.
  • A light and dark theme, full keyboard support, and a layout that plays well on phone, tablet or desktop.

Choose your level

The Daily comes in three levels — easy, medium and hard — and each is a different puzzle for the day, so you can pick the challenge that suits you and even solve all three. Switch between them with the buttons above the board; your progress on each is saved separately. If you would rather play an endless stream of fresh boards, the full classic game lives at Sudoku AZ, with a gentle start on Easy Sudoku or a real test at Expert Sudoku. When you want a change of texture rather than a change of difficulty, Color Sudoku, Killer Sudoku and Flower Sudoku keep the logic while changing the look. However you like to play, the Daily is here waiting each morning.
